SANFORD, Louise (nee Bourgeois)

Has passed into the arms of Our Lord Jesus at Extendicare Van Daele Nursing Home on Sunday, March 8, 2009 at the age of 62 years. Predeceased by her son Joey. Loving daughter of Eileen and the late Joseph Bourgeois. Dear sister of Philip Bourgeois (Theresa), Mike Bourgeois (Jenny), Jeanette Clarida (Bruce), Rozanne Hayward (Rick), Tim Bourgeois (Teresa), Mariette Bell (Greg), Cathy Bourgeois (friend Randy), Rob Bourgeois (Linda) and Carole Bourgeois (friend Leigh). She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Louise was a vibrant out-going person with an amazing contagious smile. She loved to have fun and had a good sense of humor. Lou liked to tease especially her brother Phil. When her mom visited, Louise would hold her hand tightly and not want to let go. Although she could not verbally communicate for the last 12 years, Lou would respond to prayers with a hearty 'Amen.' Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 from 12:00 noon until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations made to Van Daele Manor Residents' Council, A.R.C.H. (Algoma Residential Commmunity Hospice) or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
