Taken home very peacefully by Jesus while surrounded by family on Thursday, June 7, 2007 at the age of 82 years. Beloved wife of the late John Sageloly. Loving mother of Theresa Bourgeois (Phil), Robert (Valerie), Denise (Robert), Jacques (Jennifer), Charles (Patricia), Peter (Debbie) and Marc (Wendy). She will be sadly missed by her 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, sister, Soeur Simone Gaumond and brother-in-law Edmond Chamberland. Having been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis over 40 years ago, Marguerite was a caring and committed member of the Multiple Sclerosis Society and was influential in the early development of the Sault Ste. Marie chapter. Her generosity and 'million dollar' smile were appreciated by many. Margot's greatest love was family and friends and her ability to spread hope and sunshine with her warm smile was uplifting and energizing for those who crossed her path. She will be greatly missed by all, but there is great comfort in knowing she is reunited with her true love Johnny and that they are one again. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Monday, June 11, 2007 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend George LaPierre officiating. Cremation will follow with a family commital at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Sault Ste. Marie would be appreciated by the family. A special thank you to the staff at Tendercare Nursing Home. Their compassion and care were unprecedented.
