SADOWSKI, Denise (nee Paradis)

Peacefully at the F.J. Davey Home on Saturday July 29, 2023, in her 76th year, with her son Kevin by her side.

Denise will be reunited with her husband Fred. Mother to Fred Jr. and Kevin (Melissa). Memere to Cody (Becky) and Shandi and Great Memere to Matias and Noah.

Predeceased by her parents Jean Paul and Yvette Paradis, her sister Rejeanne Halonen and her brothers Bob and Terry Paradis. Leaving to mourn her loss are her siblings; Brenda Willoughby (late Bill), Helene Barnes (Albert), Claude Paradis and Reginald Paradis (Debbie).

Daughter-in-law of the late Frederick and Katherine Sadowski. Denise was loved by her brothers and sisters-in-law; Debbie (Bob), Paula Shook, Josie Long (late Lester), Donald Sadowski (Kaye), Angela Damignani, and the late Doreen Swinney (late Gary). She was Aunty “Sissy” to many nieces and nephews.

There will be many happy memories from the residents of St. Michael’s Square.  Denise will also be remembered from the McMeeken Centre for many years. Whether it be hockey, figure skating or school events, everyone knew Denise as the canteen lady.

Denise was blessed with such a loving and caring staff on Birch 2 who treated her with the utmost respect and love.  Jessica, Cindy, Melody, Tammy, Amy and her niece Lisa to name a few, you loved her like we did, and we thank you.  To the residents and their families who always took the time to share a smile, or a hello thank you.  To sisters Brenda and Helene and sister-in-law Debbie, Kevin wishes to thank you for taking such care of his Mother and being there for her over the last several years.

Denise our wish is for you to rest in eternal peace you are free to think and remember and watch over us all.

As per Denise’s wishes there will be no service. Cremation will take place.

Memorial Donation in Denise’s name can be made payable to ARCH Hospice, Tracy’s Dream or a charity of your choice (Payable by cheque or online).

They may forget..... but never let them be forgotten!
