Peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at the age of 79 at the Great Northern Nursing Centre. Beloved husband of Edith (nee Robert) for 58 years. Loving father of Randy (Betty-Jean), Clinton (Marci) and Barbara Whalen (Gerry). Cherished grandfather of Ian, Eric, Aaron, late Adam, Benjamin, Dereck, Christie Smith (Chris) and Chelsea, Erica and Jonathan, Roxanne Whalen (Josh Poirier) and C.J. Great grandfather of Jessie, Ethan and Silynn. Dear brother of Evelyn (late Phil), Lillian (Alfred), William (Sophie), John, Helen and Gilbert (Nancy). Predeceased by his brothers Fred and Louis and his sister Dorothy. Also survived by many brothers and sister-in-law, nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, March 12, 2010 from 6-9 pm. Funeral service will be celebrated in the chapel on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 12 pm. Rev.
