Passed away peacefully on Saturday January 15, 2011 surrounded by his loving family at the Lady Dunn Health Centre Long Term Care at the age of 86 years. Beloved husband of Anastasia for 64 years. Loving father of Jean Russ (Richard Ryan) of Calumet Island, Quebec, Lauren Rushton (David) of Fairview, Alberta, Muriel Russ-Hunt (Keith) of Guelph, Ontario, Maureen Wood (Bart) and Peter Russ all of Wawa, Ontario. Proud grandfather of 12 and great grandfather of 13. Brother of Lehman Russ of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Brother-in-law of John Syrette (Kitty) of Garden River, Ontario and Christine Bolduc (Ange-Aime) of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. At the family's request a private family memorial service will take place at the P.M. Gilmartin Funeral Home (140 Churchill Avenue, Wawa, 1-800-439-4937). Memorial donations made to the Lady Dunn Health Centre Long Term Care would be appreciated by the family.
