After a beautiful 83 years, our beloved Mom, Baba and Great Baba has taken her well deserved rest on Tuesday, September 10, 2019.  Proud of her hard working early life which was spent with her family in Cook's Creek, MB, where her farming family molded her into the spunky, hard working, humble and sincere woman she was.  Being swept off her feet by the love of her life, the late Julian (Curly) Rudnicki, they married and moved to Sault Ste. Marie in 1955 to build a home and fill it with a loving family of their own.

Her proudest accomplishment in life was the loving, raising and nurturing of her four children, Diana Pezzutto (Tim), Michael Rudnicki (Angela), Larry Rudnicki (Donalyn) and Dennis Rudnicki (Terra).  She loved watching them grow into the adults they are today.  The joy of being a Baba was evident every time she saw her grandchildren, Anna (Spencer) and Christopher, Meggan Mead (Ryan), Ryan (Patrick) and Amy, Alex and Jesse.  She nurtured each one of their unique personalities.  Her grandchildren were all so blessed to have their Baba throughout their entire childhoods.  Parker Mead, her great granddaughter was Baba's eyes to the future and someone she thought she would never live to meet.  Beloved Foster Baba of many.  These children, like her own, brightened her smile every day.

She was the devoted daughter of the late John and Olga Cienki and caring daughter-in-law of the late Anthony and Anna Rudnicki.  It gave her great joy to spend time with them, whether it was pickling, gardening, $1.44 days at K-Mart or just sitting outside listening to their stories.

Dear sister-in-law of Stan and Barb Rudnicki and caring aunt to Shirley, Janice, Cindy and families.  Special friend to Stan Gronskis who became a wonderful companion for many years.

She loved her family unconditionally, fiercely and completely.  She was the glue that everyone always gravitated towards and looked to when in need of grounding.  We are better for having enjoyed her, for having laughed with her and for having been loved by her.

Friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. 705-759-2522) on Thursday, September 12, 2019 from 6 pm to 9 pm.  Funeral service to be held in the chapel on Friday, September 13, 2019 at 1 pm.  Rev. Ron Ambeault officiating.  Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.  In memory of her love of children, memorial contributions payable by cheque to the Children's Aid Society of Algoma (Youth-In-Care Fund) or to Christmas Cheer would be greatly appreciated.

Special thank you to Dr. Rossi for her long standing care and compassion, including home visits where Mom wanted to be.  Thank you to the Bayshore nurses for their care.

There are some who bring a light so great to the world that even after they are gone, their light remains.

We will love you forever.
