Our dear Daniel passed into the arms of his parents William and Helen Ross, sooner than hoped but his struggles and pain ended May 26 with a couple of easy breathes, quietly went to sleep.

Left behind to carry on as he wished are his wife Kim of 42 years, children Christian Roy (Martin), Katie Pellman (Stefan), Darryn (Desire), Mr. D to his loved little people, Aiden and Lexi and recently re-entered into Dan's life, Marcel Bourque (Rachel) and grandchildren with a "Y".  He loved that!   Best big brother to Maureen Tremblay (Luc) and Uncle Dan to Jeffrey (Meghan) and Jenna (James). Uncle to Tim, Terry Phillips and Tamara Phillips-Quinlan (Kevin). Great Uncle to 6. Beloved nephew of Lillian Malone, Ken and Helen Ross, cousin of many. Fur dad to his walking buddy Weasley and treat guy to the cats.

To thank all who helped us on this last journey is difficult to express.  Maureen, words cannot do justice.  You were so important to him in so many ways. Dr. Jarrett.  You were and are the best and eased his mind and his pain. Dr. Hill, Cindy and nurses at the Cancer Clinic, your poster boy tried so hard, the staff and Drs. of Emergency and 3C Cardiac care, thank you for giving us a bit more time.  Northern Respiratory, who went above and beyond; Allison, Melissa, words cannot cover my gratitude.  Finally, to the most caring and amazing people we call our Neighbours.  Les and Judy, Mike and Kate, Donna and Derek, Joanne Just so many ways.  I cannot find the words to let you know how much this meant to us.  Our friends and family, he cherished having you.

He had hoped for his Leaf's to pull it off this year and we know he'll cheer from above.  Like his favourite F1 team he sped away too fast.   We love you, our Daniel.
