Passed away at the Van Daele Nursing Home on Saturday, August 21, 2010 in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Ken Rose. Dear mother of Gary (JoAnne) of Sault Ste. Marie, Brian (Anne) of Vancouver and Nancy Rose of Kitchener. Special grandmother of Brenda Rankin (Scott), Megan Rose and the late Dan Rose. Great grandmother of Kelsey and Lucas Rankin. Daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Wyatt and predeceased by her siblings; Elva, Lynn, Verna, Archie, Jim, Thomas, Allan, Jean and Enid Wyatt. Sister in law of the late Elsie Freeman (late George), Alfred Rose (late Marion), late Art Rose (Eileen) and the late Joe Rose (June). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. A private family service with interment at Greenwood Cemetery was held. A celebration of Ida’s life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the SAH Cancer Care Fund. Special thanks to the caring staff at the Van Daele Nursing Home for their kindness.
