ROONEY, Annie Elizabeth (Murphy)

The family announces the loss of our dear mother at the age of 87 on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at the F.J. Davey Home.  Beloved wife of the late Lawrence Sr.  Much loved by her children; Pat, Irene Frederickson, late Larry Jr. (Corinne), late Colleen DeZotto (Dave), Kathy (Peter Bonenfant), Terry (Jozette and the late Patricia), Maryanne and Tina.  Affectionately remembered by her grandchildren; Jason (Sarah), Bianca (Rich), late Jeremy, Marisa (Kevin), René, Holly (Ben), Megan, Becky (Graham) and Lis.  Sister of the late Edward Murphy (Rita) and the late Mary Yukich (late John).  Sister-in-law of the late; Anna Rabeau (late Ernest), Elizabeth Rooney, Clare Seitz (late John) and Teresa Cudmore (late Royce).  Our mother will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.  To know her was to love her.  Her kind and generous spirit will live on in those who cherish her memory.  Much gratitude to all who visited and cared for mom over the past few years.  Special thanks to the generous and committed staff of the F.J. Dave Home and Sault Area Hospital.  A private family funeral has taken place with Clarann McFarling officiating.   Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
