(May 2, 1949 – April 20, 2019) – Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at the age of 69. Beloved wife of Douglas Vokes. Proud mother of Kevin (Brenda), Roxane (Richard), late Kimberly, Melissa McLeod (Rick), Clinton (Kathy) and Andrea. Step-mother of Darren Vokes (Ingrid). Fun loving grandmother of 21 and great grandmother of 16. Daughter of the late Peter and late Isabell Robinson. Sister of Wayne Robinson and Emerson Riel. Darlene will be missed by her fur baby Princess, her many nieces, nephews and special friends. Darlene spent 40 years volunteering as a firefighter for the Batchawana Fire Department. Friends and family are invited to visit at the Batchawana Community Centre on Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Reception to follow. Memorial donations to the SAH Cancer Care Fund would be appreciated by the family.
