June 20, 1961 - January 27, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Curt at the age of 61. Dear husband to Paulette Robinson. Proud father of Stefanie and Kyle. Papa to Joseph, Andrew, Nicholas, Brook, Nathan and Reese. Step-Father to Denise Sedore, Jean-Paul Sedore and Pauline Reilly(James). Son of Colleen Robinson (late Chuck). Brother to Cindy Cudmore (Jeff), Cathy Bright (Fred), and Craig Robinson. Uncle, and long time friend of many colleagues with over 27 years of service at the Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre.

Curt had an extraordinary way of communicating his thoughts and handling difficult situations in the work- place. In his spare time Curt enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling, ATV riding, playing crib and Yahtzee, nature, and his fur babies (Lilly, Annie and Archie), and above all spending time with his family, which meant everything to him. Curt cherished his time with his grandson Nathan where they played chess. He also enjoyed his sleep-overs, treasure hunts and spending time with his granddaughter Reese. Curt enjoyed spending time with his son Kyle doing outdoor activities, and his daughter, Stefanie enjoying endless conversations regarding community service.

A memorial visitation in Curt's honor will be held at Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St E., 705-759-2522) on Saturday February 4, 2023 from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM with a service to follow in the chapel at 3:00 PM with Rev. Mike Michalycia officiating. A post reception will be held at Echo Bay Elks Lodge (96 Church St. Echo Bay- 705-248-2989)  following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made payable by cheque or online to the Humane Society of Sault Ste Marie, or a charity of choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
