1938-2021

Passed away peacefully on Monday September 6th, 2021, surrounded by his loving wife Irene, son David and daughter in law Margaret.

Chuck was a fighter and truly had nine lives.  Although he was determined not to let the effects of dementia get the best of him throughout his battle our family watched one of the strongest men, we knew deteriorate into fragments of who he used to be.  Throughout his journey, he never stopped laughing or appreciating a good joke.  He never stopped making up songs to make his granddaughters laugh or creating questionable rhymes that shouldn't be repeated here.  While there is some comfort in knowing that he is no longer suffering, our world feels a little less bright without him.  Remembering Chuck saying things like "never let your dingle dangle in the sand, never put your finger where you can't put your hand" helps us to continue to smile and laugh when we think about him.

Survived by his devoted wife Irene of 45 yrs.  Father of Brad Robinson (Jenny), late Perry Robinson, Kelly Robinson (Brenda) and their families. Special dad to David Steele (Margaret) and Stephen Steele (Leslie).  Fun loving “Popa” to granddaughters Morgan Steele (Connor Flood), Mikayla Steele (Tim Young) and great grandson Daxton Steele.

Chuck was the son of the late Charles and Kathleen Robinson.  Brother of the late Bud (Phyllis) Robinson, late Delmer Robinson, late Gary (Barb) Robinson, late Eva (Harold) Blackstock, late Kathleen (John) Jones and Doreen (Mervin) Webb.

Special thank you to all the angels at ARCH who took special care of Chuck during his final days.

As per Chuck’s wishes there will be no service and cremation has taken place. Memorial donations may be made to ARCH (payable to or online) would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 215 St. James St, 705-759-8456.

A kind and loving man who will be missed each and every day.  The memories will never fade, Godspeed.
