It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our father W. E. Maurice “Moe” Robert on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of the late Shirley (Bedford) for 61 years. Cherished father of Mark Robert (Jennifer), Wendy Klingenberger (Jim) and Thomas Robert (Tomasina). Much loved Grampa of the late Dr. Sarah Foster (Chad), Jason Robert (Shaina), Vincent Klingenberger (Emily), Eric Klingenberger, Zack Robert, Max Robert and Jules Robert. Great Grampa of Nolan Foster, Ruby and Scarlett Robert. Predeceased by his parents Albert and Mae Robert. Survived by his special sister- in- law Barbara Robert (late Richard). Predeceased by his siblings and their spouses Emile (Freda), Eileen Holley (Alec), Annette Wilson (Harold), Albert (Marge), Donald (Florence), Violet Smith (Ken), Oris, Ida Michaels (Barney), Clare Plastino (Clark), Barbara Plastino (Nick). Uncle Moe will be missed by many nieces and nephews, especially Gail Rodda. Dad was a hard-working man who lived for his family. Many beautiful memories were made at Old Mill Bay his pride and joy. He loved hunting and fishing with family and friends where he would enjoy his cigars and “Moe wine”. He will forever be remembered for all the lives he has touched. A private graveside service will be held. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
