We were truly blessed to call her mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Formerly of Sault Ste. Marie, Sylvia went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 2, 2009 in her 83rd year in Penticton, BC. Beloved wife and soul-mate of the late Fred (2001). Cherished mother of the late Roger (Margo) of Clive AB, Madeline Harrison (George) of Markerville, AB, and Debbie Jones (Darryl) of Penticton, BC. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Joanne (David) Larsgard, Jason (Penny) Harrison, Erica Rivett and Chad Rivett, all of Alberta, and Amanda (Paul) McPhail and Justin Jones of Penticton. Also survived by 13 great-grandchildren Lovingly remembered by brother William (Sylvia) Alanen of Sault Ste. Marie, ON. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Parkview Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church on Friday July 17, 2009 at 11:00 AM, with interment at Lakeview Cemetery, Penticton, British Columbia.
