Peacefully at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Elsie (nee Cain) for 64 years. Dearly loved father of Brian (Bambi) of Hornepayne, Sharon Welton (Rick) and Donald (Jill). Cherished Papa of Gabrielle Coltman (Dave) of Edmonton, Gerry Welton (Sandy Tassone), Julie Welton-Steiner (Reto) of Calgary, Amy Rivard (Jeff Park) and A.J. Rivard of Calgary. Great grandfather of four. Survived by his sister Nora Rivers of Nanaimo, BC. Predeceased by his parents Ben and Celina Rivard and his siblings Irene Masters, Delia McLeod, Margaret Hoath, George, Harvey and Norman. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel at 1 pm. Mr. Bruce Cain officiating.
