Passed away suddenly at the General Hospital on Sunday, October 1, 2006 at the age of 79. Beloved wife of Leon Ringuette. Loving and devoted mother of Laura Ann. Dear sister of Joline Bonne (Bert), June Barrett (Cliff), Martin Swanson (Helen), Doug Swanson (Barb), Bruce Swanson (Gail) and the late Donald Martin (late Lucille), Ron Swanson (late June). Remembered by many nieces and nephews. Special aunt to Debbie and Greg D’Addario and their daughters Katrina and Alicia. Evelyn will be remembered from her work at Foch Cleaners, Krisp Laundry and the Plummer Hospital. She was a devoted caregiver to her daughter Laura Ann, a wonderful homemaker and a life-long parishioner of our Lady of Good Counsel for over 50 years. Evelyn was a life-long friend of Barbara Inch and special friend of Christine Bereta, Father Michael Bennett, Sister Shannon Hickey CSJ and Sister Marion MacDonell CSJ. She will be sadly missed by her Friday morning hair salon friends at Scissors. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, October 6, 2006 from 6-8 pm. Funeral mass from Our Lady of Good Counsel Church on Saturday, October 7, 2006 at 11 am. Rev. Trevor Scarfone officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
