Passed away peacefully at the F.J. Davey Home on December 1, 2019 at the age of 90. Predeceased by his loving wife, Kyllikki. He has gone to be with the Lord. Loving father of Sinikka McCormack (John), Hilkka Zufelt (Jack), Sirpa Thibodeau (Barry), Seija Hyrsky (Bill). Dearest grandfather of Leila (Kevin), Andrew (Karrie), Chris (Rebecca), Aliisa, Trisha (Mike), Ashleigh (Shawn), Danica and Ryan. Great grandfather of Haley, grace, Audrey, Leah, Kalli, Ella, Ava, Mia, Austin, Hayden, Chloe, Aria, Emme, Cole & Tessa. Predeceased by his mother, Aune and his brother, Kauko. Dear uncle of Reima Riippi (Lisa and son Dylan). Special friend of many in the Sault. A private family funeral was held at O'Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 215 St. James St, 705-759-8456. Officiated by  Paul Niemi. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery.
