Peacefully in her sleep at Pathways Retirement Home on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at the age of 96. Loving wife of the late Ross Rickaby, mother of six – late Jack (Dorothy), Bev (late Louis), Paula (Dave), Reg (Jean), Gord (Tara) and Jim (Joyce). Mary was the last surviving daughter of the late Harry and Martha Burden – pre-deceased by Bill, Elizabeth, Hank, Margaret, Art, Ede, Wes and Isabel. Being blessed with a very long, healthy and eventful life, Mom leaves many friends, relatives and offspring to carry on her memory. Visitation will be held at the Bruce Mines United Church on Friday January 14, 2011 from 12:00 with funeral services at 2:00 PM. There will be a spring interment at Cloudslee Cemetery. Reverend Janet Schenell will be officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Bruce Mines United Church Memorial Fund or a charity of your choosing would be greatly appreciated by Mary and her family.
