Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital surrounded by family on Monday, November 20, 2023, at the age of 84.
Predeceased by his loving wife of 53 years, Joan (nee Guzzo). Father of Kim Towell (Jeff), Allan Reed (Jennifer), Terry-Lynn Rowley (Patrick) and Martin Reed (Beth). Grandfather of Sara (Matt), Christopher (Tanya), Joel (Jasmyn), Joshua (Amy), Zachary, Allannah (Benjamin), Natalie and Rachel. Papa of Addison, Reed, Leah, Marley, Kip, Alivia, Peyton, Austyn, Julian, Thomas, Remington, and Ryerson.
Son of the late Helen and Austin Reed and brother to the late Gerald Reed. Son-in-law of the late Louie and Rose Guzzo. Special brother-in-law to Louise (Lloyd), Pam (Brad), Shirley (John), Wendy, Gail, Louie (late Sharon) and the late Diane, Penny, and Dennis. Special friend to the late Mary Grace and the two Jerrys.
There was nothing in his life that Herb was prouder of than his family. He was a steadfast supporter of his children and grandchildren and was incredibly proud of everything that each of them had accomplished.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, December 7 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. at The Machine Shop. Friends, family and loved ones are welcome to come and share their memories of Herb.
