Passed away peacefully at the age of 79 at the Sault Area Hospital on October 22, 2008 with his loving family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer. He leaves behind his loving wife Colleen, daughters Valerie Johnson, Sharon Proos, Kathy Kerr (Kenneth), Linda Wallace (late Doug) and only son Mike. Proud Grandpa of the late Doug Reid, Kelly-Ann Reid, Jason Proos (Janelle), Natasha Wichowski (Bart), Tiffany and Brian Wallace and Danika Anderson-Ray. Survived by his dear sisters Pat Ogden (Alex), Miriam Givens (Don) and predeceased by his friend and only brother Bailey Ray. Lincoln leaves behind 2 great granddaughters Payton and Paige Proos, many nieces and nephews and several dear friends and buddies. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Drs. Walde, Rossi and Buehner and the wonderful nursing staff of the Palliative Care Unit for their compassionate care and support to all of us. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Sunday, October 26, 2008 from 6-9 pm and again on Monday, October 27, 2008 at St. Matthews Anglican Church from 12 pm until time of funeral service at 2 pm.
