Peacefully passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2010. Predeceased by her parents Dorothy (nee Rowe) (1977) and Ernest B. Symes (1984). Beloved husband of the late H. Boyd Ray (1978) and an infant son (1961). Joan is survived by her beloved son Scott, daughter-in-law Lee-Ann and her precious grandchildren Alex, Sarah, Emma Joan and Connor. Also survived by her loved and loving sister Marilyn J. Baker, her niece Debbie Casola and nephews Mark D. Baker and Philip A. Baker. A special aunt to Matthew Casola. Joan will also be missed by several great-nephews and nieces. At Joan’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
