Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Van Daele on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Doreen. Devoted father of Wendy Rahn and Nancy Sutherland (Willy). Grandfather of Chantel and Meaghan Vardy and Felicia Sutherland. Brother of Gerald (Connie). Brother-in-law of Gordon Archibald (Eva), Edith Parker (Bert), the late Barry Archibald (Violet) and the late Andrew Archibald (late Susan). Remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Sunday, February 10, 2008 from 7-9 pm. Funeral service in the chapel on Monday, February 11, 2008 at 11 am. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society, Trefry Centre Day Out Program or Extendicare Van Daele would be appreciated by the family.
