Rae, James Edgar (Jimmie)

Peacefully, with his wife by his side, at the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday  March 17, 2013.  Jimmie Rae of Sault Ste. Marie in his 75th year, beloved husband of Doreen for 55 years.  Loving father of Valerie Lambright and Brenda Senecal ( Randy ) both  of Thessalon, Beverly Saretsky ( Grant ) of Calgary, Susan Sobush ( David ) of Edmonton, Heather VanKoughnett (  Bill ) of Thamesville and Ken ( Cindy ) of Thessalon.  Special grandpa to several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Dear brother of Robert ( Monica ) of Iron Bridge, Paul ( Bernice ) of Calgary and brother-in-law to Linda Yeo of Prince Edward Island.  Predeceased by his parents Jim and Bernice “Bunny” Rae and one brother Lawson.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  Jimmie will be missed by special aunt Barb Hicks and many friends he has made along the way.  Jimmie devoted his life to the police force for 25 years and served in Blind River, Penetaguishene, Rimbey, Medincine Hat, Lethbridge and Grand Prairie.  Friends may call at the Thessalon Bible Chapel on Saturday March 23, 2013 from 12 noon until time of service at 1 o’clock with Pastor Charlie Martin officiating.  Cremation.  Donations to the Thessalon Bible Chapel gratefully accepted.  Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Beggs Funeral Home, Thessalon, Ontario.  www.beggsfh.com
