It is with a broken heart I announce the tragic loss of my son Jonathan at the age of 31. Jonathan passed away in Tillsonburg, Ontario, April 12, 2005. He leaves behind his beloved son Matthew, 3 years old who was his greatest joy. Also, his wife Rachael; his step-daughters Amber and Sheyenne. Jonathan was the son of Robert of London and Linda of Sault Ste. Marie; son-in-law of Larry and Pat Harrison of Brantford. Brother of Sarah (Lucien) Bonin of Sault Ste. Marie; Daniel (Chantiel) Rackham of Sault Ste. Marie; Laura Rackham and her friend Andrew Denicsh. Also survived by special big brother Paul Goring of Sault Ste. Marie. Grandson to Gwen (Patrick) Shepherd of Sault Ste. Marie; Rita and the late William Rackham, and the late Frank Cutting of England. Best friend of Robbie of Ste. Marie. Jonathan came from a big family. He has many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins in England and Canada. The family will receive friends at Ostrander's Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell St., Tillsonburg (519) 842-5221 on Saturday, April 16, 2005 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services for Jonathan will be held in Ostrander's Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, April 17, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. A memorial service will be held in Sault Ste. Marie on a date to be announced. Donations (payable by cheque) in lieu of flowers may by made to a trust fund that will be set up for Jonathan's son Matthew, payable to Matthew Rackham in trust.
