Peacefully passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on June 1, 2012 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Ruth (Tomelow) (2010). Predeceased by his parents Eduard and Olga Puusep and brother Uno. Also survived by many family in Estonia. Born in Kiiu-Alba, Estonia, Henry came to Canada in January of 1951 at the age of 28. Working at many factory jobs throughout Southern Ontario Henry finally settled in Toronto where he would meet and marry Ruth in 1957. Getting tired of the labour intensive work Henry would enroll in Massage Therapy College, graduate and continue to work in the Toronto area. In 1970 Henry accepted a position with the Sault Ste. Marie Family Y.M.C.A. as Health Club Director until his retirement 1990. As a very proud and active member of the Y.M.C.A. Henry would frequently visit enjoying the sauna baths or be seen walking on the treadmill up until 6 months ago. At Henry’s request there will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place and interment of cremated remains will take place in Estonia. In memory of Henry memorial contributions can be made to the Sault Ste. Marie Family Y.M.C.A.
