Jimmy Purvis passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 18, 2002 at the age of 45 years. Loving father of Amy Jo, Jeffrey and Daniel. Grandfather of Cole Purvis. Beloved son of Kay Purvis (late Jim Purvis). Step-son of Doug Purvis. Brother of Ivan and Kimberly. Uncle of Stephanie and Drew Hodgson. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road, 945-7758) on Sunday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral and committal service will be held in the chapel on Monday, April 22 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Joe Reese officiating. Memorial donations made to the Sault Area Hospitals Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
