Surrounded by his family at the Sault Area Hospital on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at the age of 64 after a courageous 4 year fight against cancer. Beloved husband and best friend of Lois for 39 years. Cherished father and mentor of Jeff (Dawn) and Andrew (Heather). Loving Grandpa of Emma, Chloe and Sophie. Son of the late Leivo and Maire Punkari. Brother of Mervyn (Leslie), Wayne (Lorraine), Judy Cooper and Carl (Susan). Wonderful son in law of Mary and the late Edward Keatley. Brother in law of Dorothy and Jim Edmond, Barbara and Harold Thompson, Donald Keatley, Ken and Kathy Sullivan.
