Suddenly, after a courageous battle from being involved in a car accident, she succumbed to her injuries at the Sunny Brook Health Sciences Centre, Toronto, Ontario on December 23, 2008 at the age of 66 years. Beloved wife
of the late Thomas Roy Punkari. Loving mother of Cathryne Walcott (William), Dale Punkari and Lauren Mitchell (Dewar). Proud grandmother of Miranda Evans (Peter) and
Michael Mitchell. Caring great grandmother of Xavier Evans. Dear sister of Ralph Tahti (Louise) and sister-in-law of Joan Sennette (Joe). Special aunt of Mister,
Zach, Danny, Tony, Laura, Danny, Donna, Roy and Barbara. When Airi wasn't spending her time with her children and grandchildren in Southern Ontario, you could always
find her at her cottage on St. Joseph Island. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, January 8, 2009 from 1 p.m. until time of
