PUCCI, Constantino

Posted

Through the years of battling with illness, we had always said he was waiting for something before he could leave us.  On Thursday, February 9, 2012 in his 73rd year, he finally decided he had seen all he was here to see. With his family surrounding him he closed his eyes and said goodbye. He leaves behind his most devoted wife Lina, who for 9 years took care of him at home. Loved father of Anna Robibaro (Mo), Stan (Helen) and Maria Pagnotta (Aldo).  Cherished Nonno of Nick and Stephanie Pagnotta, Darian Pucci and Maya Robibaro.   Son of the late Camillo and Filomena Pucci.  Brother of the late Antonio (Maria), Oreste (Matilda), Rachella and the late Gino (Lina).  Son-in-law of the late Lorenzo and Clorinda Diodati.  Brother-in-law of the late Carmela Marandola (Giuseppe), Giovanni Diodati (Guilia) of Sault Ste. Marie, Antonio Diodati (late Clara), Maria Mancini (late Pasquale), late Peppino Diodati (late Lea) and Elio Diodati (Marisa) all of Italy.  Constantino will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.  Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Monday evening from 6 to 9 p.m.  Funeral Mass will be held at St. Veronica’s Church on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at 11 a.m. with Father Eric Pannike officiating.  Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum.  Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Heart & Stroke of Ontario would be appreciated.  The family would like to extend their appreciation to Dr. Mario Febbraro, the health care professionals on 1B at the Sault Area Hospital, the ComCare staff, the Red Cross staff and especially Patti who was there from the beginning and who Constantino always had a special word for. He was an avid wrestling fan and despite his illness he always knew when wrestling was on.  www.northwoodfuneral.com
