Passed away peacefully at the FJ Davey Home on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at the age of 92.
Predeceased by her loving husbands Donald G. Wilson and Dr. Lloyd Prokop.
Cherished mother to Laurie Wilson (Mary Anne), late Kathy Rogers (late Mike), Michael Wilson (Ailin) and Marti Wilson. Grandmother to Lauren (Paul), Meghan (Kris), Luke (Cat), Brian, Riley, and Parker. Great grandmother to Willa and Finn.
Daughter of the late Lawrence and Catherine Kennedy. Sister to the late Larry (Theresa), late Ken (Darlene) and Bob (late Nancy).
June was a graduate of the 1953 Plummer Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. The class of eight remained close friends, celebrating several reunions over the years. June will be missed by her lifelong friend and classmate, Joan McClelland.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024, from 10:30 am – 11:30 am at City Bible Church (60 Melville Road, SSM). Service at 11:30 am with Pastor Bill McLean officiating. Fellowship to follow in church hall.
The family would like to thank Dr. Parent, Dr. Apostle, and staff of Cedar Grove One for their care and kindness towards June while she was residing at the FJ Davey Home .
