PRITCHARD, Paul Gordon “Paulie”

Posted

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul Gordon Pritchard at the age of 27. He passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospitals with his family by his side. Our beloved Paul will live on in the hearts of his parents, Ben and Marla Pritchard, and sisters Jennifer and Karen Pritchard. He has blessed the lives of his grandparents baba Mary Pritchard and the late Harvey Pritchard of Richards Landing, and the late Gordon and Corinne Mallion of Tottenham, Ontario. Paul will be forever remembered by his aunts and uncles, Rhondda Smith (Alex), Dalyce Mallion (Norman Wiechert), Nadine Mallion (Henri Van Bemmel), Robert Pritchard (Phyllis), Gerry Pritchard (Donna Carol), Michael Pritchard (Monika), Murray Pritchard, Eric Pritchard (Debbie) and Janet Pritchard (Bill Cardiff). Paul will be sadly missed by many cousins, special friend Brandon Beauchamp, his baba Jan Woolley, Michael Yanni and his Westminster Church family. Our cherished Paul lived a full life filled with smiles and laughter. He was an avid Blue Jays fan, loyal Greyhounds fan, proud graduate of Tarentorus Public School and Bawating Community Education. He continued to show his positive spirit by presenting the Paul Pritchard Award for Attitude to graduates of Tarentorus Public School. Paul always took pride in doing good work and was the recipient of many awards over his lifetime, including the provincial “Yes I Can” award. Paul always fondly remembered his school work placements at the Sault Area Hospitals and the Water Tower Inn. We would like to say a special thank you to the Sault Area Hospital ICU nurses and the Renal team for their exceptional care of our angel. Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Paul to the Children’s Rehabilitation Centre Algoma, Westminster Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund, Sault Area Hospital Renal Dialysis Care Fund or the charity of your choice. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, September 2, 2010 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm. Funeral service to be held on Friday, September 3, 2010 at Westminster Presbyterian Church (134 Brock St.) at 1:00 pm. Rev. John Wilson officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
