After a lengthy illness passed away peacefully with family by his side, on Sunday, March 21, 2004 at the age of 64. He is now in the hands of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Loving husband and best friend of Thelma for 32 years. Dear father of Bernadette (Bernie) Bakker (John) and Cliff (Eileen). Cherished grandfather and papa Joe of Timothy (deceased), Nathaniel, Theresa, Justin, Benjamin, Tyler, Zachariah and Cody. Brother of Goldie Young, Irene Meyers (Jim) and Elizabeth Prosser. Predeceased by his brothers Jack and Garnett, sisters Ruby, Pearl and Loretta and by his parents James and Eunice. A celebration of his life will be held at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Thursday, March 25, 2004 at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Diabetes Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the SAH Cancer Clinic would be appreciated by the family.
