PRINGLE, Charles Douglas

Passed away suddenly in Thessalon on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at the age of 68 after a hard fought battle with lung cancer. Estranged husband of Bernice (Matthews). Charles was the son of the late Kenneth G. Pringle and Elizabeth (Betty) of Roberta, Nova Scotia. Charles was the youngest of five sons (late) Jim Pringle, George (Leone), Bill (Linda) of Carcross, Yukon and Donald (Bette) of Nova Scotia. Charles was a father of four children Elizabeth Dionne of Truro, Nova Scotia, Kenneth “Doug” Pringle of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Margie Hancock of Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan and Sara Lee of Timmins, Ontario. Step-father of Cindy Pyne of Windsor, Ontario. Grandfather of Melinda Campbell and Michael Beaudoin of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Step-grandfather of Rebecca Raden of California, Erica Hancock of Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan, Johnathon Hancock of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, Madison and Alesha and Jason Beer of Windsor, Ontario. Charles was also a great grandfather of Marshall Guillmette and two more great grand babies on the way. He will be missed by so many friends and relatives in both Canada and the United States that he had met during his long gold mining career. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, January 18, 2013 from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm. A memorial service will be held in the chapel at 1 pm. Rev.
