June 23, 1957 – December 13, 2023

After a brief, very courageous battle, God opened the gates and a new angel took his place. His name is Richard (Ricky) George Predum, he was our brother.

Ricky was a funny, foolish and a friendly man who enjoyed country music, the Greyhounds and what he called, his Red Wings. A Story teller like no other, Ricky made his way throughout the neighbourhood in a charismatic manner spinning his tales from everyday life.

As Christmas approaches, Ricky’s favorite time of the year, it is appropriate that he has been embraced and will spend this year with those who have gone before him. His parents, Jim and Joan Predum. Brother Randy Predum, Mark Predum. Leaving behind to mourn his loss, his brothers and sisters. Ronnie, Jimmy, Carrie (John), Judi-Lynn (Paul), Michael (Susan), and sister-in-law Chris. His passing will be felt by many nieces and nephews who truly loved their Uncle Ricky.

The family would like to thank his Aunts Verna and Linda, with his cousins, for making Ricky’s Christmas gathering such a joy for him. Bob and Dorathy Smith who had a special place in Ricky’s heart and for always opening their door to him. The staff at SAH, including but not limited to Dr. Booth for the support and compassion shown to Ricky during his journey.

A celebration of life and interment will take place in the spring. Memorial contributions made payable online or by cheque to Special Olympics would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. 705-759-2522). Remember me with smiles and laughter
For that’s the way I’ll remember you all
If you can only remember me with tears
Then don’t remember me at all.
