t is with great sadness and sorrow in our
hearts that we announce to our family and friends the passing of Michele on
Thursday October 9, 2008 at the age of 84 after a long and courageous battle
with leukemia. He was born on January 31, 1924 in Lago, Cosenza, Italy.
Loving husband and best friend of Francesca (nee Muto) for 58 years.
Cherished father of (Enrico) Henry (Karen), (Saverio) Sal (Mary Alice),
Maria Weglo (John) of Ohio and Ada Smith (Darren) of Alliston. Proud Nonno
of Michael, Matthew, Johnathan, Marcus, Anna-Lee, Alexander, Kylie, Tyler
and Jenna. Son of the late Enrico and Carmella of Italy and son-in-law of
the late Alfredo and Santina Muto of Italy. Special brother of the late
Giuseppe (Ottorina), late Saverio of Italy, late Mario (Rosetta) of Toronto,
Giuseppina Muto (late Generoso) of Italy, Agostino (Maria), Rosina Piluso
(Domenico) of Italy, Maria Cavaliere (Achille) and Antonio (Lina).
Brother-in-law of the late Michele and Rachele Muto of France, late Mario
and Saveria Muto of Australia, late Alberto and Francesca Muto of
Argentina, Mafalda Muto (late Domenico) of Italy, Carmella Muto (Artillio)
of Argentina, Sisto Muto (Rachele) of Australia and Ottorina Muto (Carmine)
of Argentina. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, relatives,
friends and staff at Arby's. He is at peace and has been greeted in heaven
by family and friends. Visitation will be at the Northwood Funeral Home
(942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Monday October 13, 2008 from 6:00 to
9:00 p.m. Funeral mass at St. Veronica's Church on Tuesday October 14, 2008
at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Ron Ambeault officiating. Entombment at Holy
Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to
A.R.C.H., or St. Veronica's Parish would be appreciated by the family.

staff and Bayshore nurses Michelle and Leah.
