On Saturday, February 3, 2024, Patricia passed away peacefully at ARCH with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer and is now reunited with her grandmother, Josephine.
Adored mother of Vincent, Christopher, Brittany (Shaune) and Tianna (Travis). Second mom of Tristan (Amanda) and their two children Emilia and Bria as well as Justin and his two children Addison and Avaya. Special “Grandma-is” of Jake. Loving companion of Mario.
Daughter of the late Sherry and John Plastino. Dear niece of Edward “Uncle Mike” (Jackie). Treasured sister-in-law of Frances (Carmen). Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and extended family especially her favourite niece, Lisa Coccimiglio and goddaughter Micaela.
Family was important to Patty. Being a devoted independent mother of four was her biggest accomplishment. She was proud to have raised her children into the kind, caring people that they are today. Her favourite place to be was at home surrounded by Vince, Chris, Britt “Buzzard”, and Tianna “Baby Chicken”.
A sincere thank you to her home care nurses Sean and Suzie for the care you gave to Patty. Thank you to ARCH for your care and compassion towards Patty and her family and making her comfortable in her final moments.
At this time, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at O’Sullivan Funeral Home on Friday, February 16, 2024, from 5pm – 7pm. A service will be held in the funeral home’s chapel at 7pm with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Memorial contributions made to ARCH would be greatly appreciated by the family.
