Peacefully at the Guelph General Hospital, on Saturday, December 9, 2006 at the age of 83. Sophie Piraino devoted wife of the late Peter Piraino. Loving mother of Vicky-Lynne Thibodeau (Laurier) of Guelph and John Piraino (Cheryl) of Stratford. Beloved sister of Nick Shami (Irene), Paul Shami (Monica), the late sister of St. Paul, late Mike Shami, late Andy Shami (late Dorothy), late Peter Shami (late Nellie), late Fred Shami (late Rollie), sister in law of the late Joe Piraino (Doris, of Ottawa), Sue Bednarz (Late Chester), late Frank Piraino (late Rose), late Victor Piriano (late Rose), Late Sam Piraino (late Annie) and the late Patsy. Special aunt to many nieces and nephews. Good friend of Georgette Laliberte. Friends may call at O'Sullivan Donnelly Funeral Home, corner of Cathcart and St James Sts, Wednesday from 10am until 1230pm. Fumeral mass will be celebrated at St Gregory's Church, Estelle St at 1pm with Msgr Victor Amadio officiating. Internment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
