Peacefully at the General Hospital surrounded by his family on Sunday, December 9, 2007 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of over 68 years to Stella. Loving father of John E., Paul (Dorothy), Aline Mooney (Jack), Ann Van Landeghem, Lucy Pilon, Shirley Pepin (Mark) and Lorrie Turco (George). Proud grandpa of Allan (Kelly), Ruth Ann (Jim), Chris (Terri), Jimmy, Margaret-Jean (René), Theresa (Doug), Bonnie (Ward), Sean (Kristin), Lisa (Derrick), Mark, Curtis (Julie), Melanie, Jake, Chantal and Megan. Great grandfather of 24. John is predeceased by his brothers Emile, Finn, Leo and Ted and sisters Lorette and Antoinette. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
