Passed away in his 53rd year on January 30, 2009, after his valiant struggle with long-term illness. Beloved and only son of Marlene Pidgen and the late JD, rascally grandson of the late Alice Harper. Loving father of Jeremy Digby (Thearsea), Candace and James. Grandfather of Shianne, Jake and Willow. Wonderful brother of Sharon Sicoli (Dirar) of Strathroy, Marilyn Hore (Michael) of St. Joseph Island, Donna Berry (Bob) of London, Linda Trozzo (Dan) of Sault Ste. Marie and Kelly Vautour (Garth) of Burlington. Special uncle of many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, February 5, 2009 from 6-8 pm. An informal celebration of life function will follow at O’Aces in respect of Jim’s final wishes. A scattering of ashes will take place in the summer of 2009. Donations to the Canadian Rheumatoid Arthritis Society or the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society would be gratefully appreciated. Special thanks to the compassionate care given by the medial staff in ICU and 300Y at the Sault Area Hospital.
