June 22, 1936 - August 14, 2007 Passed away peacefully at home with family by her side. Beloved wife and best friend of Edward for 52 years. Cherished mother of John (Vicky), Joseph, James (Pam) and Laura Paquette (Richard). Proud grandmother of Susan Armstrong (Brad), Pam Allan (Corey), Angela Piaskoski, Ashley Burns, Brittany and Chelsey Paquette, Logan Piaskoski and Liam Piaskoski. Loving great grandmother of Matthew Allan and Lily Armstrong. Sister of Joan Yakich, late Shirley Ross, Judy Comrie, John Nelson, Linda Lebrun and Ester Young. Wilma led her life with courage and pride. Her love was unconditional and her selflessness and determination was an inspiration to everyone she met. She truly will be missed by all. Friends may call at NORTHWOOD FUNERAL HOME (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Friday, August 17, 2007 from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. then to St. Veronica's Church for a memorial mass at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Ron Ambeault officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Sault Area Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. A special thank you to Dr. Murray of Wawa, Dr. Walde, Dr. Beuhner, Bayshore Home Health, Red Cross, CCAC and all of the doctors, nurses and caregivers who helped to let her live her life to the fullest.
