Passed peacefully on September 20, 2006 in Nanaimo, B.C. at the age of 77 years. Predeceased by his loving wife, Pamela, he is survived by his children, Karen (Demetri) Kayiatos of Victoria, Ian (Amanda) of Nanaimo, Bernie (Leena) of Kingston, Ontario, Kerry (Barbara) of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and Sean (Debbi) of Nanaimo and his grandchildren; one brother, Bernard (Margaret) of Formby, England; one sister, Isobel Bechka of Liverpool, England; many nieces, nephews and their families. Dad was a caring and loving husband, father and grandfather. The family wish to thank the staff of the Palliative Care Centre of Nanaimo General Hospital for their care and compassion. Funeral Services will be conducted by the Reverend R. Corcoran, from St. Matthias Anglican Church, 600 Richmond Avenue, Victoria, on Tuesday, September 26th at 2:00 p.m. followed by interment in Hatley memorial Gardens.
