Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday, February 1, 2008 at the age of 82 years. Beloved husband of the late Carolina. Loved and devoted father of Nick (Tracey), Rose Currie (Dave Aspegren), Frank, Maria and the late Joseph. Cherished nono of Nadia (Jason Chanas) and Ricky Currie, Jeff and Lisa Perri. Dear brother of the late Vincenza of Argentina and the late Fioretta of Italy. Brother-in-law of Filomena DeAngelis (late Carmine) and Domenic Nardi (Rosa). Dearly beloved uncle of Nancy, Peter and Tony DeAngelis. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and family in Argentina, U.S.A. and Italy. Sandy will be dearly missed by his lifelong friends Compare Emilio Perri and Compare Joe Marasco and his cherished neighbours Ronnie, Bernie and the Lavallee family.
