Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital with her family by her side, on Thursday, July 18, 2019, in her 89th year. Devoted and beloved wife of Arturo Perlini and mother of Sandra Martone (Donato), Anne Louise and Arthur. Proud Nonna of Elisa, Giulia, and Renata. Loving daughter of the late Carlo and Anna DiCarlo of Ofena, Province of Aquila, Italy. Dear sister of Anna Onofrio and Domenic DiCarlo (Dorothy) of Copper Cliff, Ontario and predeceased by Maria D’Addario (Guido), Iole Iezzi (Aldo) of Chieti, Italy, and Elena Calcagnini (Tommaso). Dear sister-in-law of Marisa Greco (Pat), Bianca DiDonato (Albert) and the late Luigi Onofrio. Beloved aunt of Greg D’Addario (Debbie), Ada D’Addario, John Onofrio (Cindy), Marisa Albidone (Italo), Carlo and Joey Calcagnini, Carlo DiCarlo (Rachelle), Anna, Domenic, Angela DiCarlo, and Anna Bice and Roberto Iezzi of Chieti, Italy, Patti Anne Garofalo (Tony), Paula Greco, Anthony Greco (Sara) and numerous nieces and nephews.  She will be sadly missed by numerous close friends. Family and friends are invited to call at Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E 705-759-2522) on Saturday, July 20, 2019 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. Funeral Mass to follow at 1:00 pm, at St. Veronica’s Church, 559 Douglas St., with Rev. Ron Ambeault officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Thank you to the extraordinary staff of CCAC home care and those of the Complex and Continuing Care Unit (2C) at SAH for their tireless effort, compassion and humanity in the care of our beloved mother.
