It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father and grandfather, Arturo Perlini, on March 4th, 2021, in his 90th year.
He was the beloved husband of the late Sestina Perlini and father of Sandra Martone (Donato), Anne Louise and Arthur. He was the proud grandfather of Elisa, Giulia & Renata Martone. He was both a gentleman and a family man, always evoking a sense of calm and ease in all his encounters. Good natured and unassuming, Arturo loved his family with a depth and warmth that was strongly felt by all.
He is predeceased by his parents Omero & Palma Perlini. Arturo was brother to Marisa Greco (Pat) and Bianca Di Donato (Albert). He was brother-in-law to Anna Onofrio, Domenic DiCarlo (Dorothy) and late Maria & Guido D’Addario, Iole & Aldo Iezzi of Italy, Elena & Tom Calcagnini, and the late Luigi Onofrio.
Will be dearly missed by his aunt Eleonora Comedini (late Muzio) in Fano, Italy and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family is deeply grateful to the staff of the FJ Davey Home, Second Floor Cedar. Your skillful and compassionate care of our father is greatly appreciated. Special thanks to family and friends who have offered their love and support during this difficult time.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E, Sault Ste. Marie 705-759-2522). Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private family ceremony will be held on Friday March 12, 2021.
