(April 23, 1927 - November 9, 2019) - Peacefully at Mauno Kaihla Koti on Saturday, November 9, 2019 with family by her side. Loving wife of the late Reino. Caring mother of Jorma (Debbie), Timo (Halina), Liisa Disano (Nino) and Leila Carson (Gary). Devoted Mummi of Eric, Mark (Amy), Amy (Trevor), Matthew, Lori (Joey), Steven (Emma), Laura (Kevin), Luke (Whitney) and Scott (Coco). Iso-Mummi of Destinee, Alanna, Amelia, Tomas, Hannah, Michaela, late Lexi, Teagan, Madison and Bryce. Iso Iso-Mummi of Maverick. Predeceased by her parents Kosti and Nelly Laine. Sister of the late Markku Laine (Joanne). Sister-in-Law of Toivo (Ruth) in Finland. Laura will be missed by many nephews, nieces and relatives here and in Finland and Sweden. A private family service has taken place. Memorial contributions to the Ontario Finnish Resthome Association (OFRA) would be appreciated.
