Loving father of Lynne Hertz (Doug), Joyce Lindsay (Ian), Gayle Lytham, Mark, Carmel Pagé (John), Glen and David (Jacqueline). He was predeceased by his daughter Margaret Ruth and two grandchildren. John was the proud grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
