Valto Pehkonen passed away peacefully at the Plummer Memorial Hospital on Sunday April 13, 2003 at the age of 73. Loving husband of Sinikka. Valto is survived by his two sisters in Finland. He is predeceased by his parents Kustaa and Jenny, two brothers, and two sisters in Finland. Brother-in-law to Eila Koski (Jaakko) and their family. A funeral service will take place for Valto on Tuesday, April 15, at 11:00 am in the chapel of Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre with Rev. Raija Perttula officiating. Memorial donations to the Ontario Finnish Rest Home Association would be appreciated.
