Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday, March 9, 2008 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of Anders (Andy) Pedersen. Loving mother of Shirley Leigh (Johnson), Pat Carroll (Helen), late Doreen Dubblestein, Betty Cristello (Rocky), Colleen Wright, Duaine Carroll, Andrea Pedersen and Anders Pedersen. Devoted grandmother of 20, great grandmother of 25 and great, great grandmother of 4. Special sister of 6. Peggy’s caring nature and loving spirit invited many more into her family and they all became “her children”. She has greatly influenced the lives of many and will live in our hearts forever. Friends and family may attend the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 134 Brock Street on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 for visitation from 6:30 pm until time of service at 7:30 pm. Rev. Deon Slabbert officiating. At Peggy’s request a private committal service will be held in the spring. Memorial contributions to the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society or to Feed the Children would be appreciated by the family.
