Age 78 passed away at Sault Area Hospital (Plummer Site), Sunday, August 8, 2010 with his beloved family by his side following a courageous battle with cancer. Born October 26, 1931 Elm Creek, Manitoba. Baptized May 30, 1933, married August 15, 1953 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Beloved husband of Betty. Loving father to Wenndy (Bill), Penny and Doug. Cherished grandfather to Kim (Dave), Charlene (Jeff), Ian, Dawn and Cathy. Proud great grandfather to Brandon, Kyle, Alexander, Gavin, Cole and Hope. . Gordon will also be missed by his nieces, nephews and friends. Survived by brothers Ed, Lawrence (Sonia), Ernie (Irene) and sister Lillian (Hugh). Predeceased by parents August and Ida Patzel. Gordon was a modest man of quiet sentiment who dearly loved his family and God. He was a person of compassion who selflessly cared for and served others. He was humble and appreciative of all his blessings.
