It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Edith on July 21, 2008 at the Sault Area Hospital General Site in her 87th year. Beloved wife of Bill for 56 years. Mother of Jane and Carol. Grandma Edie of Travis and Spencer. Daughter of the late Gusdavis and Sadie Allan. Survived by her sister Norline Burch (late Les). Predeceased by infant sister Arline Allan. Aunt of Lynda Clement (Joe), John Burch, Allan, Bruce, Pat (Olga), Ken (Darlene), and the late John. Sister-in-law of the late Dorothy and the late John Howard, Helen and the late Harold Rousom, and the late Jack Patterson. Special friend to Mary Kutkevicius and Rhoda Shaw. A special thank you for the joy her Luncheon Ladies brought to her and to the nurses and doctors of the SAH ICU for the care and compassion. At Edith's request a private family service will be held.
